The author of this circuit is Mr Rajeeblochan Dheebar, Bankura. He is a circuit designer, and works for helping hobbyists. Here a total emergency light circuit is made.
It has charging line too. Even it shuts down when mains is on. The transformer either you buy, or make yourself. But be careful about correct and one after one windings while making transformer.

Sir i have this emergency light which doesnt light. Cud u please explain the circuit so that i cud troubleshoot it myself. Further i would lyk to start doing circuits on my own. Cud u suggest good websites and materials that wud help me in designing ckts. I am a 2nd year engg student.
